The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene sliding bearing units use ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene for the bearings, and a combination of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, zinc alloy die-cast, and stainless steel castings for the bearing housings, each integrated to provide mutual alignment and correct any misalignment of the shaft axis. Additionally, the sliding bearings can support linear motion shafts or allow block-type bearings to slide against the shaft. These units and bearings are highly resistant to corrosion, making them safe for use in applications such as food machinery.
